REQUEST FOR COURTESY VISIT

                        Having successfully inaugurated the Ovia North-East Local Government Area farmers multi-purpose co-operative Union, in the main hall of the council secretariat on Wednesday 22^nd of June 2011, we deem it fit to officially pay courtesy visit to your office to familiarize the relationship between the farmers Union and the local government authority.

            We want to thank you for the fatherly role you played during the inauguration of the Union, as this facilitated the success of the program. Despite the fact that you were not present physically, we know your presence was with us in the form of representation by your secretary.

The purpose of this august visit is outline thereof:-

1. it will afford us the opportunity to decide together as one family, the future of farmers in your local government area. As is true in other areas of endeavor, farmers are beset with some challenges which we very much hope that meeting you to reason together, will afford us the opportunity to discuss and proffer solution to these problems.
2. The Union wants to develop and sustain mutual collaboration with your local government. It is clear that this will translate to poverty alleviation among the rural dwellers.
3. It is necessary to present our work plans to reposition agriculture in Ovia North-East Local Government Area as a union, to your humble office. The Union strongly believes that the current echelon and practice of agriculture can be given a boost with high productivity and efficiency as the end result.
4. Finally sir, the Union wishes to seek your unflinching support towards the attainment of our unique goals (bringing all farmers in the local government area together) for enhanced production, and improved well being. We clearly understand that there is strength in unity.

We have scheduled this meeting for Tuesday 2^nd August 2011 (Tentative Date).
